Benefits of Membership with Sport SA

Sport SA will lobby the government on our members behalf in the areas of facilities, funding, industry development, training and education as well as volunteers.
We hold industry training seminars which can cover a variety of topics including governance, bugetting, mediation and protocol.
There are excellent opportunities to network with state sporting organisations, local councils, sporting industry bodies and commercial sports industry organisations.
As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) we deliver vocational training and our members are able to employ trainees who attend Sport & Recreation courses with significant financial benefits to the member.
The introduction of the State Sport Dispute Centre provides our members with an avenue to impartial mediation and dispute resolution.
Members have the opportunity to attend our annual Leaders Luncheon and Partners and Members Breakfast and hear guest speakers covering the latest topics of interest in the sporting industry.
In conjunction with Club One we provide grants to organisations whose state body is a member of Sport SA. We also assist our members in applying for other grants offerred throughout the year.
Members have the opportunity to hire our training and board rooms at members rates.
If you are looking for volunteers to assist you at your events members are able to source volunteers for their events through our automated volunteer registration system on our website.
Your public profile can be increased by media coverage available in the Independent Weekly's weekly Sportsbeat magazine.
As the license holder of the South Australian Masters Games members have the opportunity to increase the regional profile of their activity through this annual event.
All members are encouraged to upload their sporting events on our website calendar to increase the profile of their organisation.
In November 2010 we will be introducing our Sport Awards where our members can not only nominate individuals and teams for awards but also put forward deserving individuals to be on an organising committee for the Awards. 
Our website also allows our members to upload job vacancies for all our 750,000 individual members to view.
Members also have access to a members only section of our website where you can view/download Office for Recreation and Sport courses and seminars, training courses, policies and procedures as well as sporting related media articles.
