Those South Australian sportspeople who have bestowed on them the status of Legend are at the absolute pinnacle of sport in this state.It is a special category for those that hold a revered place within the community with their deeds bordering on "legendary".
They will have lived by a code of values that are inspiring and include pride, respect, honour and be defiant in the face of adversity.
These sporting champions will have distinguished themselves at the highest level of competition and impacted on and off the field as well as having set an example for all South Australians.

On November the 20th this year the very first Legends of South Australian sport will be announced at a Black Tie Dinner in front of 600 enthusiastic guests.
