Trainer/ Assessor - Sport and Recreation

Sport SA is a highly respected not for profit organisation with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO ID: 2280) delivering accredited training to the public, Sport SA Members, VET in Schools, Traineeships (from Sporting Organisations) and Diploma Students.  We are currently seeking a suitably qualified Trainers/Assessor for the delivery of the following Qualifications:

  • SIS30115 Certificate III in Sport and Recreation
  • SIS31015 Certificate III in Aquatics and Community Recreation

Bikes Palya Youth Program Coordinator

Palya is seeking a Youth Program Coordinator.  An exciting opportunity exists for an organised, passionate, self-motivated individual to work outside their comfort zone in the nexus of public health, education and community development.  The position will be responsible for delivery of Bikes Palya in 2019 across numerous locations.  The role will be split between administration tasks in Adelaide (approx. two days per week) and set delivery weeks (8 in total), travelling to remote communities for up to a month at a time.

Bikes Palya is a behaviour change program delivered in remote SA communities through Bike SA since 2013.

Swimming Instructor

The Rapidswim: Learn to Swim program is a highly specialised swimming sergice delivered by AUSTSWIM accredited instructors.  In the program instructors work 1:1 with young people and adults living with sensory, intellectual and/ or other disabilities to increase their capacity to access their community, build meaningful social connections and live an ordinary life.

Casual positions are available to work at the Thebarton Aquatic Centre on Saturday afternoons (commencing in February), with the opportunity to add additional shifts to your roster throughout the first term.

Swimming Instructors - Adelaide Aquatic Centre

The Adelaide Aquatic Centre is currently on the lookout for new talent to join the team on a casual basis.  They are seeking individuals who have an interest in being a Swimming Instructor within our state of the art Aquatic Centre.  A requirement for this role is to have the following; Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety, and CPR certificate.  Ideally you will have experience in delivering a high level of customer service, have excellent communication skills with the ability to remain patient, and be able to achieve positive learning outcomes with individuals of all ages.
