Position Available: Event Coordinator

An opportunity exists for an Events Coordinator to join the organisation and manage events delivery through professional administration for SwimmingSA. The position will develop and lead delivery of all competitions and events conducted by SwimmingSA aligned to the vision and mission of the organisation. You will be part of a team providing consumer-led thinking to improve the event experience for participants, supporters. To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced and passionate event specialist who is both hands-on and strategic.

SwimmingSA Inc is the governing body for the sport of swimming in South Australia registered as a not for profit incorporated association.  SwimmingSA is affiliated with Swimming Australia and has 48 member clubs across South Australia and Broken Hill.

Nominations are being called for vacancies for the following positions:

  • Governance, Audit & Risk Committee - up to 5 positions
  • Competitions Committee - up to 7 positions
  • Development Committee - up to 7 positions
  • Technical Committee - up to 7 positions

Position Vacant: Independent Commission Vacancies x 2 - Call for Nominations

Nominations are now open for two Independent Commissioner positions on the Basketball SA Commission.  Basketball SA encourages anyone that has suitable skills and experience with an enthusiasm to contrbiute to the future of basketball in South Australia to nominate.  Basketball SA is keen to ensure the Commission has a diverse representation, and in particular we want to ensure a gender balance given the positive benefits diversity will provide the sport.

The Independent Commissioners play a vital role in the shaping of the strategic direction for basketball in South Australia. The Commission has primary responsibility to the members for the sustainability and relevance of Basketball SA by guiding and monitoring its business and affairs.  In carrying out its responsibilities, the Commission undertakes to serve the interests of Basketball SA members, employees, customers and the broader community.
