Free Volunteer Screening Check - Information Session

Following an advocacy campaign to abolish volunteer screening check fees in South Australia by Evelyn O’Loughlin, CEO Volunteering SA&NT, the State Government has recently announced that as of 1 November 2018, all screening checks will be free.

This is a fantastic result and a “win-win” for volunteer involving organisations and individual volunteers who were paying the $59.40 fee.

For the organisations, these savings can be used for providing services and resources for the benefit of communities. And for volunteers, it may mean the difference of taking up a volunteer position or not.

This is an information session to find out more information about this change, and a chance to get your questions answered.

Date: Wednesday 7th November 2018
Time: 10:00 - 11:00am
Where: Sport SA, Military Road, West Beach
